Customer photo review of Adler Stretch Culotte - Eco PowerStretch :: Black

Terrific fit, fabric is thick but not too heavy to look sharp and polished. I am petite, so they are full length on me instead of cropped, but they look great. One of my favorite MM pants!

I first ordered these in XXS or 00, forget which. Anyway, they seemed a bit fitted so I exchanged for XS or 0 and those fit exactly the same. I kept the larger size, and I do like them. They are just past ankle length on me, so essentially regular pants. I wore them with the snaps to adjust the length. IMO, the snaps are not enough because the material hangs down where they aren’t snapped and my shoes got caught in it. I used fashion tape to keep them up. Why after all this did I give it a high rating? I’ve worn them several times, they are comfortable, and I do really like them.

Pants fit beautifully and look amazing, especially on someone whose frame consists of wider thighs and bigger bum. I also appreciate the adjustable hem - for someone 5’5” they are basically a full length trouser (if wearing flats) when left at longest option and they hit a bit above ankle length when shortened with the adjustable button hem.

These pants are a perfect fit on my curvy hourglass/pear shaped figure. I was always envious of the women who could make the foster pants work. They seemed like such a brilliant wardrobe staple. Thrilled to have the same fabric now in a curvy girl friendly silhouette. I would buy these in every color, please make more.

The black culottes fit perfectly and are versatile. I am wearing them with the hems snapped up with my Hokas and look forward to wearing them longer with heels!

When I first tried on these pants my instant reaction was 'where have these pants been all my life?!?!' BTW, I am 5' 6", 148 lbs and pear shaped. The fit is slimming and the ability to make the pants shorter by snapping them is simply brilliant. A couple of notes: the pants arrived with a front crease which I really liked, so when I ironed the pants (to get the unintentional creases from shipping out) I made sure to iron the front crease. However, after wearing the pants for a full day of travel, the crease did not stay. I wonder if when the pants are drycleaned if the crease would stay? The other note is that I snapped the hem to wear the pants shorter. However, after arriving in Aruba, a much more humid climate than Colorado, the hem wouldn't stay up in the front and back side where it wasn't snapped (there are snaps on the right and left seams). So, as I walked through the airport I could feel the short hem coming undone. That being said, I still love the pants! I'd love a matching layering top to the olive pants.

These are a great and versatile pant (not a suiting fabric but still appropriate for many offices). They run large. I had to size down one size, and the inseam on me is a full-length pant. However they do have the internal snaps so one can adjust the pant length.

This is my second pair of Adlers. Although I like the line of the Milos, I prefer the Adler's fabric which I find more comfortable with a better drape. I'm on the tall side, with large waist (30 inches) relative to my hips (36 inches), so finding a pair of pants which accommodates my leg length and dimensions can be a challenge. (For reference, I wear a size 4 in the Adlers, a size 2 in the Hortons and a size 6 in the new Fosters.) Sharing this in the hopes that others who don't have the classic 10" difference between waist and hips may be able to make a better guess at their size in these pants.

I have to admit I’m not wearing these as culottes. At 5’6, they fit me perfectly as wide leg pants. They are super comfortable, substantial (yet I wore them comfortably on a 100 degree day and didn’t regret it), slimming, and wrinkle resistant. I’d get them in every color if every color were an option!!!

These are going to become my go to pants. I recently wore them in a flight to Europe and I was the most comfortable I have ever been on a transatlantic flight. They still looked great after my flight, a train trip, and an automobile drive!

These pants are kind of miraculous. I tried them on in store, despite telling myself that the last thing I needed was another pair of black pants. But they are so versatile!! I wore them the next day to the museum with a denim shirt and then wore them on the plane for five hours and then wore them two days later with a silk shirt for work, and then wore them with a sweater to church. They seem to hug the right places and the wide leg is not too wide — just wide enough to seem hip, I think. Like my Foster pants, I wouldn’t tuck a blouse fully into these, just based in having a tummy from 3 kids, but they work great with a sweater or shirt over them or with a French tuck.
